The Schrader AirAware TPMS Retrofit Kit is a hardwired tire pressure monitoring kit that can be installed on vehicles not equipped with original-equipment systems. This stand-alone kit includes a dash-mounted receiver display, four wheel-mounted transmitters that fit most wheel applications, and installation instructions. This retrofit kit will continually monitor tire pressure and tire temperature in all four wheels, and alert the driver with an audible warning at under-inflation of 25 percent or more. Monitoring of proper tire pressure will maintain vehicle performance and support safety, as well as improve vehicle handling, reduce braking distances, lower the risk of hydroplaning, decrease tire wear, and improve fuel efficiency.
